Telephone Calls
If you experience any digestive or related problems between appointments, please call our office and briefly describe your situation to the nurse. If your call is of an urgent nature, a physician will call you immediately. Otherwise, a physician will return your call as soon as possible or an appointment can be scheduled to evaluate the difficulty.
After Hours
When calling the office after hours, our answering service will immediately contact the on-call physician who will return your call. Please have all of the following information available:
- Last name, date of birth, age of the patient
- Nature of the call
- Phone number where you can be reached
- Pharmacy phone number
- Any chronic underlying issues
- Medication allergies
Emergencies
In the event of an extreme emergency, please call 911. Proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room, where we can be notified regarding your situation.
